Who comes to me?
The people who find their way to my practice have almost always been through a great deal before they arrive. They are not at the beginning of their journey. They are intelligent, resourceful people who have pursued answers through conventional routes — and who have reached the point of understanding that something different is needed to resolve their health issue.

Multi-cause or unexplained fertility issues
This typically means: multiple IVF failures, unexplained infertility, a complex gynaecological or andrological picture, recurrent miscarriage, or fertility challenges in the context of other health conditions (particularly immunological). I always work with both partners. Age is not a barrier to beginning.
I focus my work were it is needed most and so tend to work with clients in their 40s. I do work with younger clients where there is a diagnosed issue, which has not been successfully treated. Complex health conditions
This typically means: conditions that have resisted diagnosis or treatment, symptoms that span multiple systems and/or years, a history of being told that results are normal when your experience of illness is anything but, or a complex picture involving conditions such as POTS, MCAS, EDS, insulin resistance, Endometriosis, nervous system dysregulation, or persistent infections.

I bring to every case the investigative instinct of someone who has spent more than 25 years learning what to do when the obvious answer isn’t working. I will typically do over 1,000 hours of additional learning each year to support my treatment of patients and my training programmes.
I always begin with a comprehensive assessment of your full clinical picture — drawing on advanced scientific and functional testing, a detailed case history, and the pattern recognition that comes from decades of working with complex presentations. I then build a sequenced treatment plan around what I find, coordinate your care across every discipline it requires, and stay with you for as long as the journey continues.
I want to be clear about something: I pass all testing on at cost, and I receive no financial benefit from any test I recommend or any professional I refer you to. Every recommendation I make exists because I believe it is right for your case. Nothing else.
I work with a small cohort of clients at any one time. This is not a high-volume practice. It is an in-depth one, where personal attention is prized and customer service is very important.

Complex fertility cases
Fertility is never just one person’s story.
Each partner carries half the picture — and all the potential for change and improvement. I work with women, with men, and with same-sex couples (working on known or donor sperm quality), and I take both sides of the contributing parties equally seriously. In my experience, the cases that have remained unresolved are often the ones where only one side of the picture has been properly investigated.
You may have been trying for months or years. You may have been through IVF — once, or several times — without success. You may have a diagnosis, or you may have been told that nothing is wrong, which can feel like its own kind of impossible. You may be in your forties and acutely aware of time in a way you were not before.
Whatever has been tried, and wherever it has led, if you are still without the outcome you came for, I work with exactly this kind of complexity.
Diagnostics and complex health conditions
Your body has been telling you something but you are still waiting for someone to listen properly.
You may never have been given a diagnosis. Or, you may have the results of testing but not really know what to do with them (or have not been given treatment which helps).
Often, what my clients don’t yet have is a coherent explanation of how it all connects — or a plan that addresses the full picture rather than its individual parts.
You have done the research. You have seen the specialists. You are not someone who gives up easily, which is part of why being here — still without resolution — is so exhausting.

Expert training for practitioners
Having built my practice and reputation in the field of fertility I found that I was overwhelmed by clients. In 2018 I launched my Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture to train more practitioners to become experts in diagnosing and supporting fertility issues.
In 2020 this became the foundation course for Fertility Support Training, my training and mentoring hub for Chinese Medicine practitioners who want to become experts in fertility, complex health conditions, and building successful and sustainable businesses.
There are now over 100 specialist fertility acupuncturists around the world, with more graduating every month. Each one is trained and assessed by me personally and they renew their accreditation each year, not by paying fees but by showing evidence of their continuing knowledge development and research.
